A Hobbit’s Walking Tale- September 2016

A Hobbit’s Walking Tale (Twitter tags: #AHobbitsWalkingTale #byfogisbeautiful)

  • Miles Walked This Month (August 31st-September 26th):ย 44.2 miles
  • Total Miles Walked:ย ย 518 miles
  • Milestones Reached: Goblin Attack, Gollum’s Lake, Dwarf Reunion

“‘Who are these miserable persons?’ said the Great Goblin.

“‘Dwarves, and this!’ said one of the drivers, pulling at Bilbo’s chain so that he fell forward onto his knees, ‘We found them sheltering in our Front Porch.'”

~The Hobbit, Chapter 4: Over Hill and Under Hill

“Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum – as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.”

~The Hobbit, Chapter 5: Riddles in the Dark

“‘And here’s the burglar!’ said Bilbo stepping down into the middle of them, and slipping off the ring.

“Bless me, how they jumped! Then they shouted with surprise and delight.”

~The Hobbit, Chapter 6: Out of the Frying-Pan, Into the Fire

Oh my gosh, this was the worst month I’ve had so far… which is actually strangely appropriate, considering that’s probably exactly how Bilbo felt during this particular part of his journey ;P

tumblr_md0zlxj4zx1re3c2eo1_500

You know, between goblins, and Gollum, and things are probably going to get worse before they get better ;P Hopefully we can get away from the wargs quickly and the Eagles can get us to the Eyrie at least before the next month is up!

Whoop, time to run!

Have You Hugged A Book Today?- August 2016

readingchallengeaug16

I am still seven books ahead of schedule! This is excellent! I feel so relieved about this, which is good because I have enough stress in my life ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s the link to my star rating breakdown if anyone needs a refresher. It’s also up in the header ๐Ÿ™‚

  • What Iโ€™m currently reading (in order of Date Started)
    1. Wolves of the Calla (Dark Tower #5) by Stephen King– Oh my gosh, this book is SO MUCH BETTER than Wizard and Glass! Things are actually happening that I care about, and plot, and we’re back into the actual story, and YAY! Not sure how I feel about the shady villagers asking for help (and I kind of wish I’d read Salem’s Lot before this, but I can go back and fix that ;P), but things are happening! Hooray! \o/
    2. Miles in Love (Vorkosigan Omnibus #6) by Lois McMaster Bujold– I’m having a moment of weirdness, because I sort of spoiled myself for the first book in this omnibus, but I still want to know how the thing I know about is going to happen. So I’m in a weird state of anticipation right now ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, I’m having feels about this terrible marriage, just FYI…
    3. Audrey Hepburn: An Elegant Spirit by Sean Hepburn Ferrer– Whoops! I sort of forgot I was reading this. Going to try to pick it up and finish it this month ๐Ÿ™‚
  • Books I’ve Finishedย
    1. Wizard and Glass (Dark Tower #4) by Stephen King- Three Stars

Fog’s Book Of The Month

Memory (Vorkosigan Saga, #10)Memory by Lois McMaster Bujold

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Miles hits 30. 30 hits back.”

This is the one line description of this book in the timeline, and honestly it’s a much better summary than the one on the back of the book. The back of the book is deceptive, as it implies that you will be living Simon Illyan’s memories, which is not true. This book is probably the most introspective of the Miles books I’ve read so far and, as a result, is also a slower paced book. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t engaging (I read it in about a day), it just means that it was very different from the books that have preceded it. It feels like the transition that it is, a transition from a reckless, careless, hyperactive Miles to a more grown-up version, who thinks about others (and himself) a bit more deeply. It changes him and makes him more aware of himself, something that he has been sorely lacking.

All in all, a very good book, if not exactly what was promised on the package ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, this was a quick post! I didn’t really have much to report this month. Oh well, I’ll leave you on a funny note:

Once More Unto The (Writing) Breach- August 2016

Just a warning: I was useless last month. I mean, really. I don’t know what happened to all my grand plans, but they are nowhere to be found right now. I’m finally feeling back to normal and ready to tackle my life again, but being off-kilter for a whole month really set me back.

Alright, let’s take a look at the damage and see what we can salvage.

What I’ve Accomplished This Month

augustwordkeeper

Ugh. I didn’t even want to post this. It looks so bare…

I know the chart only shows one chapter, but I posted the second one on September 1st, so I’m counting it ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m not too far behind on this yet (though I’m further behind than I thought I would be) and if I post at least one chapter every week (excluding November) I should still be in a position to finish by the end of the year. I’m optimistic about my chances here, and I’ve been able to work through a lull in productivity in the past week, so hopefully this will continue on schedule.

I’ve lowered my expectations for this story to one chapter a month, just until I can get Calenhiril’s Search finished. But I got them out of Rivendell! \o/ I’ve also decided to make this story my NaNo project this year, so that I can dive right into posting in earnest in the new year ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Wonderland Reclaimed- 3,894 words written

Here’s where my failure really shines. I had a goal of writing 10,000 words this month and I just could not push myself to it. I’m having a really hard time with this story so, as much as I wanted to be done with the first draft by the end of the year, I just don’t see it happening. I’m letting that goal go. I’m not letting go of the story, but I’m not going to punish myself for not finishing it by the end of 2016. Instead, I’m going to do my best to write at least 8,000 words a month on it until it is finished (obviously November and December will be exceptions). It’s going to throw off my plans for 2017 a little bit, but that’s flexible, I have plenty of time to figure it out.

What’s Coming Up in September

I’m still going to try to post at least one chapter of Calenhiril’s Search a week, and one chapter of DBTT around the 15th of the month. I have a goal of 8,000 new words for Wonderland Reclaimed, which should be doable if I really work at it. And I’m going to be editing the short story sequel fanfic to Worth Living For that I wrote in July! That’s something I’m really excited about and I can’t wait to get started!

I’m also preparing for additional duties concerning NaNoWriMo in November. This year, a friend and I have been announced as the Municipal Liaisons of a brand new region! We’re both very excited to get started, but it’s a lot of work and will take an awful lot of dedication and time to get set up. I think I’m going to be extra grateful for my month off come December ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wow, this post was especially sparse this month, here have a gif of a slow loris eating a banana:

I need about twenty of these creatures in my life… Okay, until next time!

A Hobbit’s Walking Tale- August 2016

A Hobbit’s Walking Tale (Twitter tags: #AHobbitsWalkingTale #byfogisbeautiful)

  • Miles Walked This Month (July 26th-August 30th):ย  83.7 miles
  • Total Miles Walked:ย  473.8 miles
  • Milestones Reached: Rivendell, Thunder Battle

“And so at last they all came to the Last Homely House, and found it’s doors flung wide […] His [Elrond’s] house was perfect, whether you liked food, or sleep, or work, or story-telling, or singing, or just sitting and thinking best, or a pleasant mixture of them all. Evil things did not come into that valley.”

~The Hobbit, Chapter 3: A Short Rest

“All was well, until one day they met a thunderstorm – more than a thunderstorm, a thunder-battle […] Bilbo had never seen or imagined anything of the kind […] When he peeped out in the lightning-flashes, he saw that across the valley the stone-giants were out and were hurling rocks at one another for a game, and catching them, and tossing them down into the darkness where they smashed among the trees far below, or splintered into little bits with a bang. “

~The Hobbit, Chapter 4: Over Hill and Under Hill

Well, I reached Rivendell, but I didn’t get much rest. I had my best month so far in August! And like Bilbo, I spent a great deal of it climbing around in the mountains:

But I also spent some time in the air as well:

My Colorado vacation got me all the way through the Thunder-Battle, and well on my way to the goblin’s Front Porch! We should be through Gollum’s Lake (plus One ;P) and reunited with our beloved dwarves before September is done! We are a fourth of the way through our adventure, guys! It’s exciting!

See you next time!

A Peek Behind The Curtain- August 2016

Well here it is, the newest addition to the blogging round up! And honestly, I’m a little freaked out. I’ve seen posts like this before. And they usually made me feel something like this:

wizard-behind-curtain1

But I think this could be good. It’s actual proof that I’m working on something, especially my original fiction, which tends to stay nestled in a deep, dark hole on my hard drive, never to be seen by the eyes of another living soul, until I’ve convinced myself that it’s complete crap and given up on it. No more! Well, hopefully no more ;P

The rules of this post are real simple. Below, you will find a sample of what I’ve been working on the past month. Sometimes it will be original, sometimes fanfiction, sometimes edited, sometimes not. It all depends on what has been occupying my time lately. So without further ado (and before I lose my nerve), let’s take a Peek Behind The Curtain!

Wonderland Reclaimed (Book 3): Through The Looking Glass

Alice kept to the path before her, her eyes and ears open. She knew that Bridget would not go far, and that she would be back in less than two minutes, but still being alone in the forest made her skin crawl. She saw imaginary shadows moving at the edges of her vision, and forced herself to keep walking, glancing to either side with jerky, nervous movements. Madge hadnโ€™t wanted to leave her with the jay March, but she hadnโ€™t really been given a choice. Dedra didnโ€™t trust Madge to keep to her word, and so had insisted on accompanying the Hatter herself. Carlisle and Jaxson had paired up instantly, leaving Alice with Bridget as a searching partner. There was very little distress among the group, if you didnโ€™t count Dedra, shifting nervously and vibrating dangerously every so often. But Alice was worried despite herself. She had been out alone in these woods not so long ago. She wouldnโ€™t wish being lost out here on anyone, not even the heir to the Reds.

The Caterpillarโ€™s words echoed back to her: You focus too much on the bad, Alice-that-might-be. The Reds had done terrible things, she knew that. But had the Whites been all that much better? Had they not sentenced all the people out here in the Tulgey to death, death by neglect, by abandonment? She thought of Mal and his family, the family that had died out here in the Tulgey, in fear and desperation. And for what? For the crime of being born with magic? For being different? How was that any more justified than a beheading over the color of some roses?

Bridget burst out of a clump of brush and Alice ducked, her heart pounding in her chest. She felt a pulse and then the girl was standing beside her, an arm on her elbow.

โ€œOh Alice, Iโ€™m sorry!โ€ the girl exclaimed, bending over her, โ€œI didnโ€™t mean to startle you!โ€

Alice swallowed and managed to catch her breath.

โ€œItโ€™sโ€ฆ Itโ€™s okay,โ€ she said finally, โ€œJust jumpy thatโ€™s all.โ€

And that’s it for now! Tune in next month for more progress (hopefully)!

Have You Hugged A Book Today?- July 2016

Alright y’all, I went on vacation and completely forgot about the blog. My bad. But I’m here now, let’s get to it!

ReadingChallengeJuly16

You read that right, folks, I am eight books ahead of my schedule! There were a lot of comic books involved, but I regret nothing!

tumblr_m8954pxefk1qkar3s

Here’s the link to my star rating breakdown if anyone needs a refresher. It’s also up in the header ๐Ÿ™‚

  • What Iโ€™m currently reading (in order of Date Started)
    1. Wizard and Glass by Stephen King– This. Book. Is. A. Slog. Ugh. Seriously, I could not care less about what’s happening here if I tried. I like Roland for liking the Mayor’s wife and feeling bad for her, but that’s basically the only interesting and surprising element in this plot line, and trust me, it’s not that interesting. I just want to get back to the actual story, that is all I want in life right now…
    2. Audrey Hepburn: An Elegant Spirit by Sean Hepburn Ferrer– I haven’t picked this book up again, but I plan to fix that this week! ๐Ÿ™‚
  • Books I’ve Finishedย
    1. The Superior Spider-Man, Vol 1: My Own Worst Enemy by Dan Slott- Four Stars
    2. Loki: Agent of Asgard, Vol 1: Trust Me by Al Ewing- Five Stars

    8. S.H.I.E.L.D., Vol 1: Perfect Bullets- Three Stars

Fog’s Book Of The Month
All-New, All-Different Avengers, Vol. 1: The Magnificent Seven (All-New, All-Different Avengers, #1)All-New, All-Different Avengers, Vol. 1: The Magnificent Seven by Mark Waid

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have three words and an honorific for you: Nova and Ms. Marvel. Their interactions almost completely made this book for me. With a nice side of Miles Morales (who I am now going to have to find more of), and lady!Thor (who was AMAZING with Sam Wilson, I am right with Kamala on this ship). I loved the tiny nods to Sam’s struggle to be accepted as Captain America, and the struggle of the adults to trust the kids while at the same time wanting to protect them. Basically, this book was amazing and I will definitely be reading more.

And that’s it! Like I said, a lot of comic books, but I’m going to try really hard to read a few more other books now that I’m back home again (if I can ever trudge through Wizard and Glass, oh my god…). Until next time!

Once More Unto The (Writing) Breach- July 2016

Last night, at writing group, I was so tired that I actually could not imagine writing this blog post. I felt like I hadn’t slept in two weeks (mostly because I basically hadn’t slept in two weeks) and I had no more words to word. I couldn’t even Pinterest. That’s how tired I was.

Well, I’m still tired, but here I am. And now, I’m going to explain why I felt that way ๐Ÿ™‚

What I’ve Accomplished This Month

CNW_Winner_1500-1

This was the big one. 50,000 words, over three different stories, in 29 days. July has 31 days, you say? Well, thinking I was going to have plans this past weekend, I pushed through and finished on day 29 instead.

tumblr_ma152013jw1r2a8tc

First draft of Calenhiril’s Search is completely finished. All it’s going to need is some editing and filling out as I go along. I have written the actual end of a story I have been writing for 15 years… I’m feeling… well. That’s a blog post for another time.

I wrote the fanfic short story sequel to Worth Living For. It went really well, a lot better than I thought it would. I’m very excited to start editing it, but I haven’t decided if I want to try to do that in the last two weeks of this month, or wait until September. If I get my mojo back, I will try for August, but I’m not holding my breath.

Wonderland Reclaimed. It’s a mess. It’s going to need so much tweaking and fixing and nitpicking. But Part One- Down The Rabbit Hole – is complete. Again. And I used the rest of my words (nearly 11,000!) to work on Part Three until I could work no more! I’m still a little stuck on how I want the plot of Part Three (tentatively titled Through The Looking Glass) to go. There are so many things that need to happen, most of them in the background of the two main characters’ arcs and I’m still not entirely sure how to work it all in. I’m going to let it rest for the next two weeks or so until I get my bearings back.

  • Clarity 9 chapters posted (COMPLETE!)

It’s finished! And it went really well! I got so much positive feedback and so many people that are excited for the sequel! I’m still planning to write the Age of Ultron sequel, but unfortunately it might not happen in November like I planned. I may decide to write 50,000 words on Double The Baggins, Twice The Took instead (see below). And of course this is all completely dependent on whether or not I finish Wonderland Reclaimed before November. If not, I’ll be working on that instead. Again. I’m going to be sick of this story before I even get out of the first draft.

nope

Once I finished Clarity, I was feeling pretty good about myself. So I posted a couple chapters of Calenhiril’s Search, just as a nice surprise for readers. I pretty much ripped their hearts out, but that’s neither here nor there ;P Right now, I’m thinking I will have this story completely finished by the end of the year, which is going to be weird. I won’t even know what to do with myself. Wow.

Yes, I fell into this trap again. I just really want to get them out of Rivendell, is that so wrong? And on that note, all my characters seem to get trapped in this Rivendell vortex. Why is that exactly? Elrond?

giphy

Right, well, clearly he’s not talking. But anyway, now that Clarity is done, I feel like I can take another crack at this story. I’ll probably only post a chapter a week, because I do want to focus on finishing Calenhiril’s Search, but I hope to have this finished by this time next year at least.

JulyWordKeeper

Yeah. This is why I have no more words left to word.

writing-bad

What’s Coming Up in August

Well, the first two weeks are going to be R&R time. I’m going on vacation, so I’m prepping for that and then I’ll be gone, spending time with fogishandsome, riding steam engines, climbing around Pueblo settlements, floating in hot air balloons, that kind of thing ๐Ÿ™‚

When I get back is when real work will start up again. I’m still desperately trying to finish Wonderland Reclaimed before November. Preferably before October, so I have time to prep a project for November. Which means I have a month and a half to write roughly 40,000 words that I have not plotted yet. I know what needs to happen, but I have no idea how to get there. And one of my main characters has changed race no less than three times, it would be very helpful if she would just PICK A LOOK ALREADY! *ahem* Anyway, I’m going to try to write at least another 10,000 words in the two weeks that are left to me in August.

Along with that, I will still be posting at least one chapter of Calenhiril’s Search a week (sans vacation week), along with trying to post one chapter of DBTT as well. I’m rapidly running out of written chapters for DBTT, hence the possibility of writing another 50,000 words on that story in November, rather than the Age of Ultron fic I had planned.

It’s only August and I’m already looking forward to December. I’m so tired, I think I’m going to just go sleep for another couple of days.

A Hobbit’s Walking Tale- July 2016

A Hobbit’s Walking Tale (Twitter tags: #AHobbitsWalkingTale #byfogisbeautiful)

  • Miles Walked This Month (June 30th-July 25th):ย  55.5 miles
  • Total Miles Walked:ย  390.1 miles
  • Milestones Reached:ย Trollshaws, Ford of Bruinen

“For just at that moment the light came over the hill, and there was a mighty twitter in the branches. William never spoke for he turned to stone as he stooped; and Bert and Tom were stuck like rocks as they looked at him. And there they stand to this day, all alone, unless the birds perch on them…”

~The Hobbit, Chapter 2: Roast Mutton

“One morning they forded a river at a wide shallow place full of the noise of stones and foam. The far bank was steep and slippery. When they got to the top of it, leading their ponies, they saw that the great mountains had marched down very near to them.”

~The Hobbit, Chapter 3: A Short Rest

Well, it wasn’t the worst month I’ve ever had, but it was a near thing. I did, however, manage to walk more than I did last month, which was the goal! We survived Trollshaws (without being squashed to jelly!):

trollshaws

We’ve nearly made it to Rivendell, but not quite, we’re just on the other side of the Ford of Bruinen:

4e6fe43f6e813_241_lotrford-of-bruinen2

Next month, we’ll meet Lord Elrond and begin our perilous journey into the Misty Mountains, if all goes well!

On a blogging note, you may have noticed that I missed last week’s blog post. This was due to a combination of Camp NaNoWriMo, and the fact that I’m considering switching that particular post to something else. I didn’t have time to get it ready this month, but stay tuned next month for something new and exciting!

Have You Hugged A Book Today?- June 2016

You guys! I was so into NaNo and Pokemon Go, I forgot my blog post! I’m so sorry, here we go!

ReadingChallengeJune16

I’m two books ahead of schedule! This is so awesome! I feel so accomplished this month ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s the link to my star rating breakdown if anyone needs a refresher. It’s also up in the header ๐Ÿ™‚

  • What Iโ€™m currently reading (in order of Date Started)
    1. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon– Into Month #2 of reading this for the book club ๐Ÿ™‚ Still enjoying it, but I’m not sure if I’m going to continue the series. It’s really going to depend on the ending I think, and I’m nowhere near there yet ๐Ÿ™‚
    2. Wizard and Glass by Stephen King– Book Four in the Dark Tower series. This is where Mr. King lost me last time around. I’m powering through, but I have to say, I’m not all that interested in what’s happening here. It all seems pretty predictable to me, and I feel like I could live without it…
    3. Audrey Hepburn: An Elegant Spirit by Sean Hepburn Ferrer– This is a book that a friend let me borrow and I’m just now getting around to reading it. Because I’m a terrible friend like that (sorry, Peggy!). It’s a beautiful book and a nice read for a slow day on the couch.
  • Books I’ve Finishedย
    1. Miles Errant (Vorkosigan Omnibus #4) by Lois McMaster Bujold- Five Stars
    2. The Walking Dead, Vol 16: A Larger World by Robert Kirkman- Four Stars
    3. The Walking Dead, Vol 17: Something To Fear by Robert Kirkman- Four Stars
    4. The Walking Dead, Vol 18: What Comes After by Robert Kirkman- Five Stars
    5. Hawkeye, Vol 6: Hawkeyes by Jeff Lemire- Four Stars

Fog’s Book Of The Month
The Slow Regard of Silent ThingsThe Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I like that Pat put a warning that this book might not be for everyone. I can see how it might have been necessary. But I can also say that this book was definitely for me ๐Ÿ™‚ As with all of Pat’s books (I’m using the familiar form of his name because, by god, I feel like the man is my literary friend, fight me ;P), the language was beautiful, but I never felt like it was ostentatious or unnecessary. Every word used in the proper way, every phrase put in it’s perfect place ๐Ÿ™‚ Auri was lovely to read about, I loved her more than I have ever loved her before and I will never read about her in the same way again.

As Pat said, this book is for all of those that are a little broken. We are many. We are not alone. This book was a reminder that we are not forgotten and we are beautiful and we are loved. Yet another book that changed my life ๐Ÿ™‚

The Quarterly Writing Round Up!- Q2, 2016

A reminder:ย  At the beginning of the year, I made some yearly goals and some quarterly goals, which I promised to reevaluate and re-prioritize every three months. It’s been six months now, and it’s time to look back at Quarter Two 2016! Here’s a recap of my goals for the year, in case you don’t want to go back and read the original post:

Overall goals for the year: Finish Changing History rewrites DONE! (Q1), Finish first draft of Changing History: Entwives, Write the Worth Living For short that I’ve been planning for ages, Edit and begin posting Clarity DONE! (Q2), Finish the first draft of all three parts of Wonderland Reclaimed.

Reward Project: If I finish Wonderland Reclaimed, I can write my Avengers: Age of Ultron fic for NaNoWriMo in November.

So out of five goals, I’ve finished two. Not quite half, but pretty close, considering I’ve been working on Calenhiril’s Search as well.

And here’s the month by month!

Quarter Two, 2016- Review

April: Camp NaNoWriMo #1! Edit Clarity (A Loki Fanfiction).

  • I did this! 80,000 words edited in thirty days! It was awesome! I’m super excited! ๐Ÿ˜€

May: Continue to post at least one chapter of Calenhiril’s Search and DBTT a week. Finish the first draft of Wonderland Reclaimed, or add 50,000 new words (whichever comes first).

  • I posted three chapters of Calenhiril’s Search. Respectable, but not quite what I was hoping for.
  • I only posted one chapter of Double The Baggins, Twice The Took, and this was the month that I decided to put this particular fic aside for the time being, until I could dedicate the time and attention it deserves.
  • No new words were written in May. Actually, I may have, kinda, forgot I had even made this goal. Whoops! ;P Hopefully July will make up for this!

June: Prep month for Camp NaNoWriMo #2! Depending on how May goes, either prep for editing Wonderland Reclaimed, or prep for a finishing WriMo (50K words on Wonderland/Calenhiril’s Search/DBTT). Begin posting schedule for Clarity (M/W/F).

  • I… prepped as much as I could? Okay, I didn’t really prep for Camp. I’m doing a Finishing WriMo so it’s not quite as critical, but I probably should have done more on this front. Hopefully it won’t be too detrimental. Also, I changed up one of the stories I decided to finish, instead of DBTT I’m working on my Worth Living For short (one of my year-end goals, so yay!).
  • I started posting Clarity! \o/ I only missed one day early in June, but I’m still well on my way to being finished with Clarity by the end of the month of… wow, I’ll probably be done by the end of July if I keep up the way I have! ๐Ÿ™‚
  • I also got back into the swing of posting Calenhiril’s Search and made up for the missed chapter in May by posting five chapters in June ๐Ÿ™‚

In review, I think I accomplished a decent amount this quarter. Granted, no new words were written (I feel like such a dumbass for forgetting that goal, tbh), but I got a lot of other things finished and several more things are in the process of being finished. One of my goals for 2017 is to limit myself to two sprawling epics in a year, one fanfic and one original work. I’m well on my way to making that happen, I think ๐Ÿ™‚

With that in mind, here’s what I have planned for the next three months:

Quarter Three, 2016- Goals

July: Camp NaNoWriMo #2! Finishing WriMo including Calenhiril’s Search, Paradise Found (Worth Living For short), and Wonderland Reclaimed: Down The Rabbit Hole, 50k words cumulative. Possibly finish posting Clarity, but NaNo is the priority.

August: Finish posting Clarity (if not finished in July), I don’t plan to add any new words this month, instead focusing on the editing and posting of Calenhiril’s Search (at least one chapter posted a week, more as I finish them).

September: Continue posting at least one chapter of Calenhiril’s Search a week, complete first edit of Paradise Found, add at least another 25k to Wonderland Reclaimed.

So, with any luck, by next quarter, I will have finished two more of my yearly goals and be well on my way to completing another, which will put me on track for the year! I’m really looking forward to this quarter, I think my goals are definitely doable, if nothing untoward happens (which, let’s be honest, is always a possibility).

Until next time!
