I’m having a weird moment of trying to even remember what was in October…

giphy

Yeah, that’s probably for the best, because November has been a whole new set of…I don’t even know what to call it. Let’s get into what happened in October and maybe I’ll have a burst of memory recall!

Right. Now that we’ve established that

What I’ve Accomplished This Month

Sept17WK

Apparently, even taking into account that Harvey is an asshole and my out-of-town shenanigans, my goal of 25k words for September was just too much. I almost made 20k, which I could have been happy with, but I just lost my drive last week, so…yeah.

Let’s break down what I have done:

A Hobbit’s Walking Tale by fogisbeautiful

  • Miles Walked This Month (July 31st-Sept 24th ):  97.2 miles
  • Total Miles Walked: 1183.3 miles
  • Milestones Reached: Still walking around the Edge of Mirkwood

“[Bilbo] had many hardships and adventures before he got back. The Wild was still the Wild, and there were many other things in it in those days besides goblins; but he was well guided and well-guarded-the wizard was with him, and Beorn for much of the way-and he was never in great danger again.”

~The Hobbit, Chapter 18: The Return Journey

Oh my god, I AM STILL WALKING AROUND MIRKWOOD!!!

giphy9

Not anymore, Bilbo. I swear to god, I take a month off and I’m still wandering around this god-forsaken piece of…land.

…and I would like to get AWAY from the damn thing as soon as possible. Seriously, my god.

Hopefully we’ll be free of it next month. Stay tuned!

August17WK

So, my new goal was to track a total of 35k on WordKeeper Alpha for the month. I didn’t quite make it, but I did come in at 30,873, which is close. I probably could have made it if Harvey hadn’t been such a jerk, but that’s okay. Let’s break this down!

Hey look! Christmas in June! ;P This was kind of a weird month and not all of it made it onto the WordKeeperAlpha graph, because not all of it involved actual words. Let’s break it down!
